Types of Business Cards..
Business Card Printing UK...
The type of business card you choose depends mostly on the type of business you are and your budget. While business cards can be one of the most affordable printing projects you have for your business stationery considering their size, quantity and the amount you use them, you can often afford to be a little more creative than you are with your other office supplies.
To give you some idea of the creative angle you want to start at, here are the four main types of business cards you may choose.
Basic
A basic business card is just that and is usually printed in black ink on white card. This is good for a business which wants to promote a clear, concise, straight forward image, without being sidetracked by pretty colours; a lawyer or accountant for example.
Picture
Picture cards give the recipients of your business card something to remember you by and whether it is a photo of yourself, your office building or one of your main products. Using pictures or graphics on your business cards also allows you to convey a lot more information in a small space than you could with words or slogans.
Tactile
Your business cards can also appeal to your customers’ other senses, and as well as looking good they can also feel good. A silky finish or embossed paper can turn a plain business card into something your customers will look, and feel, twice at. Or you may just choose an unusual shape for your business cards, or even have them made of metal or wood!
Multipurpose
To make sure your customers keep your business card and remember where they have stored it to refer to it again, you can give your business card a second purpose. For example, it may be an appointment card and in this case it will be stuck prominently in your customers diary or on their fridge. Or you may include a map of where your office or hotel is, or a card which can be used to redeem a special offer or a discount.
